The white stone church of the Mother of God of Tolga was built in 1770-1777. (consecrated in 1777). The temple is a two-tier single-headed quadruple, which features rich Baroque decor, combined with the refectory and the bell tower. The refectory itself was significantly expanded in 1902. With its foundation and construction, the church in the village of Boykovo owed to the landowner Andrei Ivanovich Zmiev.
