Bell tower of the Kazan Mother of God Monastery

One of the tallest bell towers in Russia. We were surprised by the clock with chimes. On each side there are different dials: in the west - Roman, in the south - Arabic, in the north - Slavic, in the east - Greek.

The five-tiered bell tower is 107 meters high, with the second largest bell in the world crowned with a spire and cupola. Between the fourth and fifth tiers are placed a large and beautiful clock. The dials on the clock, developed according to the idea of ​​Metropolitan of Tambov and Rasskazovsky Theodosius, are different on all sides: in the west - the Roman version, in the south - Arabic, in the north - Slavic, in the east - Greek. The facade in the turquoise range with white decor is highlighted in the dark. The bell tower was built on the site destroyed by the Soviets. The most ambitious and beautiful new year 2014.
