Very atmospheric place. Especially cool in winter. I advise everyone to come and enjoy the beauty of the Russian hinterland!

Park, beautiful wooden houses. You can buy a colorful travel guide at the checkout. The IZI.Travel app has an audio guide to the museum. It's a pity it's a little neglected and the gravel paths turn into tiles, and those into ordinary paths. It's hard to walk in the rain. Some of the houses are locked, you can look inside through the windows, but you can see little and bad.

The open-air museum was created since 1977 according to the project of architect A.V. Opolovnikov. During the expeditions conducted by the Tver State United Historical Architectural and Literary Museum, regional scientific restoration workshops, the regional branch of the Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture, Gorky State University, works of folk wooden architecture were revealed in the Tver region, which were then transferred to Vasilevo. The exposition can be conditionally divided into four parts: early buildings (second half of the 18th – early 19th centuries), Central Russian type of peasant estate (second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries), North Russian type of peasant estate and the construction of Tver Karelians. By 1992, about twenty structures of religious, residential and civil architecture were placed in the landscape environment (Transfiguration Church of the Savior on Sozi, Znamenskaya Church and a barn from the village of Pyleva, Fire Station from the village of Laptikha, a barn and a water mill from the village of Ustye and other). Separate elements were preserved from the estate itself: the eastern economic building, which became the manor house after the loss of the latter, the southern and northern parterres, a cascade of ponds with a unique boulder 100-meter bridge, two alleys (poplar and lime). Input: Adult 100 p., preferential 50 p., children - for free. Payment only in cash.

Picturesque views, wooden buildings. To walk, to see. And it’s so quiet around .. as if there is no civilization nearby. There are few people, most often there is no one at all. The bridge has a swampy pond, all overgrown with mud, and the view is such that it asks for a picture. This must be painted :) Buildings seem to be strong in appearance, but still it’s difficult to maintain them, so some are closed, you can only look outside. The bridge is beautiful, you probably shouldn’t write on the film about it anymore, everyone who goes there already knows the local attraction. Yes, while you go from the parking, do not forget the magic tree :)
