There are a lot of photo and video equipment from different periods. Each device will tell its own story. And he knows a lot! There are a lot of interactive moments: here they will take a tour and give them a photo of a century ago, and show how people in the century before last coped without Photoshop and posed for 20 minutes for selfies, and show slides on a large screen, and allow you to look into the viewfinder of a camera of the past century. And here you can take a photo yourself using the cyanotyping technique: using a magic solution and ultraviolet lamps. Recommend!

Friends came from Moscow, said they wanted to go to this museum. As a resident of Tver, I have not heard about him, but I have never regretted visiting. This is not a museum in the usual sense - the premises are quite compact, the whole emphasis is on interactive. We were pleased with the sense of humor of the staff and their attitude to business - they tell with involvement, the founder of the museum conducts excursions himself, interest in the excursion does not disappear for a minute. It is especially interesting to attend the master class. In short, a very cool place, learned a lot about the history of photography and tried out old technologies (better new ones in quality!). I advise everyone.

Refined, intelligent presentation of information. The novel is not only a professional in his field, but also an interesting person and storyteller. The collection of photographic equipment is amazing! You will definitely not remain indifferent! I recommend with all my heart!

On July 18, 2020, we visited the Iskra private photography museum. Despite the small size of the room, the museum has an impressive collection of various exhibits, including: domestic and foreign cameras of different eras, lenses and photographic equipment. The owner of the museum himself conducts excursions, interestingly telling about the history of the development of photography. It can be seen that a person is passionate about, literally "burning" with his work, because in the past the photographer himself. During the excursion, he also shows his photographs, shot back in the 90s of the last century on a collectible Soviet medium format camera (6x6 cm) "Iskra". The works captivate with their views, composition, abundance of color shades characteristic of medium format films, and a wide dynamic range. And they show these slides using an old projector. All exhibits can be viewed, touched, and some even bought. The owner of the museum shows how an old camera works, which you could only see in pictures. Thank you for an interesting excursion, we recommend you visit the museum itself. P.S. We visited the fresh buffet, thanks for the tip :)
