The monument opens a pedestrian zone leading to the fountain, square and monument to Saltykov-Shchedrin. The sculpture is made of cast bronze from 8 to 10 mm thick and weighs 512 kg. According to the sculptor Karen Sarkisov, at first several sketches were prepared, in particular, a dog was present at one of them. Creating a sculpture in full size took about a month. Several people posed for the art object, but the faces of the bronze figures are a collective image. The height of the sculpture is human: the pope has about 1m 80 cm, the mother is slightly lower. In general, the sculptural composition symbolizes that there are not many children, they all have mothers. And according to the sculptor’s sincere desire, he wants there to be no abandoned children, no children left without motherly affection. And men just need to pay more attention to women. A convenient platform for everyone to take a break and think about their family, call the children and talk with them! A very noble monument - PARENTS surrounded by their children. It is filled with tenderness and tenderness. The most important thing is to keep an eye on the paint, which in some places will fall off in a year or two, which is why the monument loses all its charm. However, the idea is great !!! What could be more important in the life of any person is of course the family. And the family is primarily children. A woman without children is not a mother, but a child without a mother is an unhappy child. Recall that earlier this monument was planned to be installed at the entrance to Victory Park. It is hoped that the new sculptural composition, designed to give warmth to the family hearth to the city center, will not be the object of attacks by vandals, as has already happened more than once with the long-suffering bronze sculpture of a fisherman on the Volga embankment. In the circus, in my opinion, it is necessary to establish sculptures of animals. The fountain would have looked nice. And this is more like a sculpture "The whole family at the Invasion" ...
