Hostel Rumkomfort

Stayed about a week in this hotel. Very good place to stay.Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Owner is an indian and the ambience of hotel is attired in indian culture. The room was specious and quite clean. Also kitchen is fully equipped. Location looks to be close to railway station. Room tariff is also economical.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Rooms in poor condition: old wooden beds with broken parts, dirty walls and extremely tasteless repairs. Also the are old towels with holes and super-uncomfortable shower. Don't choose this place for your weekend.

Something in between a hotel and a hostel, there are rooms for two, three. There are multi-bed rooms for a cheaper overnight stay. Shared kitchen on the floor, nice, helpful staff. The rooms are warm and clean (there is a refrigerator, kettle, TV in the room). Large parking, nice area, there is a place to relax It’s probably hot in summer, but in autumn we felt comfortable!

We booked a room for three people at the Sitara Hotel on August 1, 2020, we received a confirmation email with the address and detailed information on how to find them. At 21.00 on the same day, we got to this hotel by car with a great hope to rest and relax from the road. I handed my passport to the reception with the words that I had a reservation, to which I was grimly answered "When did you book? There are no vacant rooms!" To the questions, how can this be, after all, I received a confirmation in the mail, we were told that the guests living there extended their stay, and what happens at the Booking does not concern them. In general, I thought that guests could not extend anything if the room had already been booked, however, here everything happens the other way around. The only positive thing was that they didn’t kick us out for the night, but were kindly allowed to sit on a leather sofa and start looking for a new place to sleep. With the help of different search platforms, I had to look for options: hotels, hostels, hotels, apartments for rent. I wanted something not very expensive, but cozy. As a result, in more than an hour we called 30 options, 3 places were in only one hostel, but in different rooms, everything else was taken. Only in the 31st we were lucky. It was a hotel "Sauna" in the village of Himinstitta, 12 kilometers and 20 minutes from the center. It's good that we were in a car and could afford this inexpensive, cozy and very soulful option (I highly recommend it, by the way)! By the way, we were not the only ones who were "knocked over" by the Sitara Hotel. About 8 groups of travelers arrived there within an hour after us. And everyone has one answer: "When did you book? There are no vacancies. Customers are extending their stay, we are not responsible for Booking." We at least booked on the same day, but there were people who made a reservation a week in advance, there were those who traveled 700 km with a child, and received a turn from the gate. This is a very unprofessional behavior on the part of the hotel, who saw all these reservations, but did not bother to call them and inform us about the full occupancy of their hotel. I give a low grade for negligence, indifference, spoiled mood and ruined plans!

An excellent hotel for a reasonable price. Everything is thought out, very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The interior of the hotel is made in Indian style, which pleasantly surprised and impressed. The breakfasts are good. Recommend.
