Museum Admiral Nakhimov

The museum itself is very small, but there are some very interesting materials. If you have already arrived in Khmelita, then be sure to visit, it is inexpensive, but made with soul.

Branch "Museum P.S. Nakhimova ”was opened on July 5, 2002, on the 200th anniversary of the birth of the admiral, a native of Smolensk region, an outstanding naval commander, the hero of the Sinop battle and the defense of Sevastopol. The exposition is located in a small two-story historical building (XVIII century) of the Griboyedov estate - Khmelita. The visitors are presented with archival documents on the birth and baptism of P.S. Nakhimov’s pedigree (compiled by a descendant of A.P. Nakhimov), reconstruction of the interior of one of the rooms in the Nakhimov’s estate, memorial items (a gift from the descendants of the Nakhimov’s family), the model of the frigate “Pallas”, marine instruments, orders, and fake cap P .WITH. Nakhimov and his notebook. Entrance tickets to the Nakhimov Museum are purchased at the box office of the Khmelita Museum. Budget cost. Informative and comfortable.
