I am very glad that this temple was restored. In 1831, the local landowner Dmitry Stepanovich Stepanov asked the Tula diocesan authorities for permission to replace the old church of the village of Nikolskoe-Lystsovo, Aleksinsky district, where he had previously been a parishioner, to build a new, Nikolskoy parish church in his village Lukyanovo. His request was granted. Nikolskaya church was built in 1835 as a manor house. The temple had no land.
