The first temple, according to legend, existed in the village when it was called Selivanov, and was burned by the Tatars along with the village. The second temple, together with the village, was built on a new site near the Krushma river itself. This temple lasted until 1765, when due to its dilapidation and low capacity it was replaced by a new one, built by some sort of landowner in the place where the real parish church stands. All these temples were wooden. The last of them burned down in 1795. Instead of a wooden one, at the beginning of the 19th century, a stone church was laid down on the means of parishioners in the same name with chapels: in the name of the Kazan Mother of God and St. The Miracle Worker Nicholas. But due to lack of funds, the church was built very slowly: in 1817, the chapel in the name of the Mother of God of Kazan was consecrated, and in 1827, the chapel in the name of St. Nicholas. The main temple was finally built only in 1860 with the special participation of the landowner M.A. Frolov, who donated a significant amount to the temple. In its original form, the temple exists to this day. The temple was closed in the middle of the 20th century, in 1956. And it was not the Germans who destroyed it during the war, but mismanagement. After the temple was closed, the local state farm set up a fertilizer warehouse. In the main dome of the temple, murals depicting a host of angels are still quite distinguishable. Currently, the temple is slowly being restored.
