Nikola Ratna Temple

Something like a hidden gem of Kashira history, this newly functioning church is still undergoing restoration work. It was built in the old Kashira Kremlin and has an interesting history. It fell in into disrepair and neglect beginning in the late 1930s.

Kashira has a feeling of abandonment, for decades only one stained glass window of the Water Tower, the UNESCO monument, has been restored. The roads are badly repaired, there is not a single shop from the Market in Sovetskaya where it would be possible to rest. In the market one pavilion was repaired, everything else does not change half a century, the dominance of Caucasians, who set prices, is very untidy.

An exceptional place. You can sit in the park at the monument to Sergey Radonezhsky. A very pleasant service and delightful church staff. Always have holy water. The church is raised from the ruins. People should put monuments to it.

The church is beautiful, they even restore it, but ... How often we are not doing very well: the lawns are not made, they tried to make the highlight (and well done for it), but it was done awry. Inside a strange place is distributed, especially at the entrance. As I understand it, there are similar or business premises. Inside is spacious, the abundance of icons. And why in the temple carpet?
