Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Prudishchi. Almost immediately behind Venev is the village of Prudischi, which was first mentioned in 1571-72 in the Scribe Book. The village once housed the estate of the landowner Norov, however, to this day, as I understand it, it has not survived. Therefore, the only attraction of this settlement is the church in the name of the Mother of God, built in 1886-1899 in eclecticism. A nobleman from the now defunct village of Ozerniki - the landowner Sunbulov Ivan Mikhailovich, invested in the construction. The church was closed in 1929, the building was used as a granary. In the late 1960s, a fire broke out in the building, destroying most of the murals. At the moment the temple is being restored by the efforts of the villagers, prayers are held, a new iconostasis was erected. Back in 2013-2014 it was possible to go inside, now windows have been installed, the church is closed and stands in the woods.
