Bogoyavlenskaya Tserkov'

I remember this church from childhood, when from the late 70's to the mid-80's I went to my grandmother for the summer to a village not far from this church. Already then it was long inoperative and by the way slightly differed from today's photos. BUT (!) All of her called Raevskaya, tk. next was the village of Raevo, which for some reason on the map is not marked. There was and is a large cemetery, too, Raevskoe. At this church there was a school (my mother studied in it after the war) and even a hospital that closed around the mid-70's. And after the hospital was closed, everything was overgrown with nettles and raspberries, and the villages were empty. But the church is really beautiful and visible from afar.

I was amazed by the beauty of this building. The sanctity of these walls has been preserved and your help is needed to preserve the church as much as possible. I suggest not doing bike excursions but being able to save what is left to restore the kunola and close the perimeter of the building will be a real help
