GUZ “Tula Regional Hospital of War and Labor Veterans” has its history since 1994. The hospital has 150 beds. The structure of the hospital from 1995-2006. It was represented by three departments: - therapeutic - 60 beds; - surgical - 45 beds; - neurological - 45 beds. In addition to inpatient care, the hospital provides outpatient and emergency medical care to residents of the village of Gritsovsky. For this, in its structure there is a clinic for 250 visits per shift, a day hospital at the clinic, an emergency room. In connection with the change in the principles and methods of treatment, the prevalence of patients requiring conservative therapy and rehabilitation treatment was reorganized in 2006 into a therapeutic department branch number 2. In 2018, 20 beds of a therapeutic profile were redeveloped into gerontological ones, on the basis of which a geriatric department was created. In 2019, the department expanded by another 10 beds. During the hospital’s work, a powerful physiotherapy department was equipped and equipped, a second physiotherapy department, an exercise therapy room and a massage room were opened. During its existence, the hospital, thanks to the clear and well-coordinated work of all departments, has become the only medical and preventive institution in the region that preserves, supports the health and active longevity of WWII veterans, Afghan war veterans, combatants, widows, residents of besieged Leningrad, concentration camp prisoners , family members of fallen warriors, home front workers and labor veterans.
