Kozel'skiy Krayevedcheskiy Muzey

We visited the museum to see all the sights of this city. A very ancient history. Huge collection. Special thanks to the guide. Since we were at the last visitation session, we were told a lot and even over time.

Very cozy in the museum, kind, knowledgeable staff. I was there several times, and each time there was news on display. I recommend to visit!

We arrived late in the New Year holidays, the museum was closed, but for our sake the staff stayed and conducted a tour. Very interesting information, a very informative tour. Bravo, there were children of 6-7 years old with us, even they were able to listen to everything to the end (although before that they walked in the park and were tired already), they could sit on the old school desk and pee in ink. They told us what finds were found, who lives in forests and swamps, what the battle was with the Tatar-Mognol yoke, what and how it was during the war against the Nazis. And the most famous place is Optina the Wasteland, who visited this place and much more.
