Epiphany Cathedral's Bell Tower

The Epiphany Cathedral's Bell Tower, the highest ancient building in the city. Its height is 74 meters. You should pay 100 rubles (1,5 €) to access the Bell Tower. This money goes to the church fund to buy 2 more bells. The observation deck is located directly at the level of the bells.

The tower looks very welcoming on the Bauman Street and hence I decided to have a look inside. The entry is priced a little steep (at 100 rubles), just like it steps going upwards. But the view from the top is quite breathtaking. You can see the square, the mall, almost all of Bauman Street and even the Kremlin. Just be wary that you're not near the bells at the time they toll.

Not bad experience in general. For 100 roubles you will have a chance to contribute into dome’s restoration and to climb over 150 steps up. View over the city is not breathtaking, sorry

It's definitely worth visiting and climbing to the top! You will never forget the view and that hundreds of stairs)) It is a historical bell tower of God's Appearance Church. This tower made of red bricks has huge life time. You should check it in Wiki. I left 1000 rubles here as charity for keeping this awesome structure in good condition. Do it and you!
