The MIUS company was founded in May 1993. The core of the team consisted of 13 like-minded people who had previously worked at the defense industry enterprises in the city of Tula. The head and organizer of the company is Alexander Petrovich Dmitriev, Candidate of Technical Sciences. From the very beginning, the company was created as a research and production enterprise, the basis of which was a team of leading specialists: designers, technologists, programmers. Currently, the company employs about 100 people, including 2 candidates of sciences and 34 people with higher education. The structure of the enterprise includes a design and engineering department, a department of industrial automation and an experimental laboratory, where new technologies are tested and new equipment models are tested. The range of manufactured products includes: • Electric chamber and shaft furnaces for heat treatment in an oxidizing and protective environment, including those with a mechanized hearth and a cover; • Universal furnaces with a built-in endogenerator for thermal and chemical-thermal processing of metals (innovative development of the MIUS company); • Fluidized bed furnaces; • Electric furnaces for heat treatment of non-ferrous metals and alloys; • Vacuum equipment, including those with screen insulation; • Quenching and washing tanks; • Laboratory equipment; • Furnaces for melting aluminum; • Non-standard equipment and accessories; • Clay fibrous thermal insulation; • Ceramic products. High quality workmanship, reliability and durability with a well-thought-out pricing policy made the company's products competitive not only in Russia, but also in neighboring countries. Industrial electrothermal equipment manufactured by the MIUS company operates at a number of such enterprises as the Federal Space Agency, OJSC Air Defense Concern Almaz-Antey, OJSC Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation, and enterprises of the automotive and railway industries. Large consumers of laboratory equipment are JSC PO Sevmash, JSC Severstal, JSC Gorky Automobile Plant, JSC TVEL-Invest and others. The MIMP brand of electric furnaces is widely known in the Russian Federation. The design of the equipment has been awarded the Gold and Silver quality marks "Russian Brand". All manufactured equipment is certified.
