According to the mortgage loan agreement on my obligation to annually provide an extended property insurance contract, I came to the bank on July 29, 2020 at 4:12 pm (valid insurance contract until July 30, 2020) and provided the extended insurance contract to the bank employee, as evidenced by the seal and signature of the bank employee on a copy of the contract. At the same time, the deadlines were not violated! Despite this, after about 2 weeks in my personal account, I discovered that the interest rate on the loan increased from 10.9% to 17.9%, which is unreasonable and contradicts the loan agreement. Repeated attempts to call the credit department of the bank were unsuccessful. As a result, on August 31, 2020, a claim was written to the director of the Tatarstan regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC, but so far there has been no response and the interest rate remains increased. At the time of writing the claim, a bank employee said that I was not the first with such a problem, and over the past month, about 10 clients have faced an unreasonable increase in interest rates. There are numerous attempts by the bank to raise illegal rates and possibly fraud. If the situation does not become clear in the near future, I intend to contact the law enforcement agencies and then refinance the mortgage in another, more honest bank.
