Peredelkino cemetery

A rural cemetery has existed here since the 17th century. Since the 1960s, writers have been buried in the cemetery, since there has been a writers' town nearby since 1935. The cemetery is one of the most famous necropolises in Russia. buried here: Bris Pasternak, Kornei Chukovsky, Arseny Tarkovsky, etc. Nearby is the mass grave of soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. There is a burial site for old Bolsheviks. In the 2000s, the Church of the Ascension of the Lord was erected.
