Backpack Hostel

A very friendly place. The location is great. I never felt that I was not at home. Not luxurious but it has something that is way more preferable. Great place.

I rarely write comments about the places I have stayed at. This hostel is owned by truly honest, compassionate people. They have helped me find the places I needed to go, and provided me with any kind of information I sought to find. In a city where finding English speaking people is a rare occasion, the owners and stuff there was a great opportunity, I wholeheartedly appreciate their valuable guidance and cordial attitude. The hostel is a clean place in which access to household gadgets is always available. The building is a classic beauty, so I also enjoyed staying in a place built to mean something rather than to provide merely a shelter. It is just a few meters off the most famous street of Kazan, so you can enjoy the silence atmosphere there while being at close quarters with the vivid appearance of the Bauman. Having stayed at also a hotel in Kazan, I can honestly say that this hostel is better than the hotel I stayed at on my first day in Kazan. I will come back one day dear friends. Price-for-Value is not very fair. CONS: - old pictures! All is in a much more used conditions than on the pictures! - Bed cover didn't fit for the bed (was too small) - only two bathrooms for all guests are far to less. They even weren't in top conditions. - breakfast is ok but cheap (oats) and no milk for the coffee - a little bit hard to find but manageable - some minor WiFi problems PROS: - great location right in the center and not too far away from the train station - not too noisy - living room is comfy - mostly quite clean - drinking water for free

Certainly recommend it. I found them by blind chance and paid a visit. From the first minute they were so considerate and attentive, helped me deal with quite a number of problems. Returning to the hostel was always rejoicing to me, knowing that I had friends waiting for me for a nice conversation in this so cozy of an atmosphere. After everything you did for a regular traveler, it is now imperative for me to tell about you with my modest sentences. Thank you guys. Home-like clean, without any bothering inconveniences, relaxing, safe and at the very heart of the city. This place outdoes the places called a hotel in Kazan. And after all, there is always a good reason for me to come visit you again, due to gladiolus...
