Yel'nikovskaya Roshcha

This is a forest that functions as a large urban park. It contains a small amusement park and also a small zoo, but basically there are lots of long paths in the middle of a forest of deciduous trees. Squirrels can be seen. It is especially beautiful in autumn. Unfortunately, as often happens in our republic in playgrounds, there is not the slightest use of Chuvash in signage, despite being the usual language of much of the population and being declared official language for decades.

Gone are the funny sculptures of cartoon characters in the grove. And the saddest thing is that the squirrel "the symbol of the NCHK" was removed. The grove became quite creepy in the dark. We can only hope that they will not begin to install benches made of black memorial stone in the center of the park, where children can play hide and seek. I will definitely not bring my children here.

In general, not bad, but somehow not very comfortable. I was very surprised by the paid toilet. I think that it should be free for visitors to the cafe. The kebabs were delicious, the staff were polite.
