The house-museum of the Bubnov family is located in the city of Ivanovo and is dedicated to the history of the Bubnov family and separately the revolutionary Andrei Sergeevich Bubnov - it is a subdivision of the Ivanovo State Museum of History and Local Lore named after D. G. Burylin. The house was built in 1860. It was not possible to get inside - it was closed without explanation. Better to call before going there

The exhibition is rather meager. There is little information about the family itself. The situation was restored, because after the repression of 38g, everything was robbed.

The house with a mezzanine, in which the future NarCom of Education Andrei Sergeevich Bubnov was born. This is the ancestral home of his father. It was here that Mikhail Frunze lived with him for some time during his arrival in Ivanovo-Voznesensk in 1905. Initially, the exposition of the Soviet period was devoted to this fact and to the conspiracy moments of the activities of Frunze and Bubnov. But now it is primarily a manor house, where the story of the large family of the Bubnovs has been restored. There is also a wonderful garden nearby, the Umka doggie lives in it, very friendly, accustomed to the large number of children who come to the museum for all sorts of activities. Permanent head A.A. Kabanova conducts a large number of museum activities for children associated with the traditions of the 19th century, as well as environmental studies in nature and plants.

The house with a mezzanine, built in 1860 as a dwelling on an exemplary project in the style of late classicism, was part of the city estate that was established in the 1840s-1880s. Then, in addition to this house, there were also buildings of brick factories, residential buildings, as well as wooden buildings for household purposes, that had not survived to this day. For its time, the house with a mezzanine was typical for the Ivanovo-Voznesensk building, but today it remains the only example of such buildings in the whole city. Initially, the house belonged to Nikolai Fedorovich Zubkov; in the late 1880's, he bought a merchant and a member of the city government Sergei Efimovich Bubnov, whose family and descendants lived here until the 1940s, after which the house was divided into communal apartments.
