Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin

This Church is dear to my heart, all my school holidays were spent in this village. My grandmother, Kozlova Anna Korneevna lived in the village of Perstyonki, she was from the neighboring village of Kashino. After 1975 all Kashinsky were relocated to the Krasny Bogatyr collective farm, the village of Perstyonki. In Soviet times, the church was a stable. In the dark, it was scary to walk past, you could hear the breathing and snorting of horses. The bell was removed and transported to the city of Safonovo (I remember this moment personally) and its ringing is still ringing.

Sitting here you feel the bones of Russia. The past years are the joys and hardships of war. This church symbolizes the current state of the Russian village. Grandfathers and grandmothers' bones are still intact, but the era has already left forever.

Beautiful temple. Local residents even tried to raise money for restoration, but to no avail. Not a lot of inhabitants, in winter almost no one. The road is dead end - the parish will not be popular. Father can be called to the service by phone
