There is really nothing special about this airport, it is very small but the people are nice even though they hardly smile. The security check can take a little while but it seems through and justified. After getting your bags you have to get on a bus to the other part of airport to go into the city. I'm not sure why they did it like that but the bus ride isn't very long.

Small airport but cozy and kindly staff

A large airfield and only two Embraer. Saratov Airlines is now just an airport. The airport building is small, but everything you need is there. Two cafes, in the arrival hall and in the departure lounge. Terrible toilet, unacceptable for a public place. Broken chairs in the departure hall. An-24 aircraft at the airport building. Beautiful view of the whole of Saratov from the hill.

Quite small airport, just enough space for 1-2 small aircraft, but inside it is clean, at least all there. Plus it is in the city, but since it is located on a high-rise (hill), then, most likely, fogs are not uncommon, so consider this ... There is one small cafe nearby.

Old Saratov Airport. They will close it soon. A new airport has been built. But the building itself attracts attention with the characteristic architecture of the Soviet era. Of the old airports, it is not the worst, both in appearance and in internal condition. I hope this building and the whole territory will find worthy application.
