We were in Balakovo, in terms of sightseeing, we decided to look into the house-museum of Chapaev. The museum is located in the center of an unbroken park next to the building of the failed museum of the revolution and is simply lost from the side against this background. On the territory of the museum is the Chapaev hut, a service hut and a wooden service toilet, trees grow around. The cost of us was somewhat struck by 100 ₽ adults and 50 ₽ children. Therefore, they looked out the window: stove, table, chairs and bed, as well as a samovar. Of course, everything is atmospheric for those years, in addition, the caretaker is ready to tell a lot about that era and the personality of Chapaev. So if you are a purely urban person, I advise you to go.

A wonderful, albeit small, museum building. I went in and didn’t notice how four hours flew by - the guide working there, a true professional, very interestingly tells.

A good museum, caring people keep the memory of a great man. Very interesting tour. The whole story for each exhibit. The house itself is small, fenced with a plot with a fence. On the plot there are courtyards, in general, the usual village house of a poor family. During the excursion you become imbued with the sensations of that time, as if in contact with history. If you are in Balakovo be sure to visit this museum. Ticket price for adults 70 rubles, for children 50 rubles + 50 rubles guide and, if you want photos + another 50 rubles.
