The inside of the church was closed for renovation when I was there, but you could walk in the courtyard, so outside you can see everything. It's really beautiful. The perfect Russian church. Best in Yaroslavl.

When you stand on the Spit of the Volga embankment, a magnificent panorama opens up. One of the stars of this magnificence is the temple complex in Korovriki. It is worth getting closer to see.

Cool Old Believer temple complex. You can get inside the temple. There are beautiful frescoes, although it is still being restored. In the dressing room there is an exhibition of photographs of the Old Believer community. The watchman Sergei lives in the bell tower. Contact him, somewhere from 10 am to 6 pm, he will open the temple and tell everything.

One of the best examples of Yaroslavl architecture in the 2nd half of the 17th century. A five-domed brick four-pillar church, surrounded on three sides by porches, the eastern corners of which are occupied by tented chapels. Built at the expense of I.F. and F.F. Nezhdanovsky in 1654, is distinguished by the richest tiled decoration. Side chapels Olga and the Conception of the Forerunner. A freestanding pillar-shaped tent bell tower of the 1670s Closed in 1935, occupied by a warehouse. In 1992, returned to believers, given to the Old Believer community. For regular worship is not used.
