The bell tower was restored on a historical site by 2004 according to the project of architects A. V. Shitov and D. V. Golubinov. On November 28, 2004, a dome was installed on the 44-meter bell tower and a pre-prepared spire was fixed. The total height of the bell tower with a spire is 66 meters.
