The village of Alekseevka on the right bank of the Volga appeared only in the 17th century. The names of the Golitsyns and Karachinskys are mentioned among the owners of the village, but in the end, Countess Irina Ivanovna Vorontsov-Dashkova became the owner of the village in the twenties of the 19th century. Since 1848 the village belonged to Ivan Illarionovich Vorontsov-Dashkov (1837-1916), he built an estate and laid out a park. The count was a cheerful fellow, he lost at cards to the Khvalynsky merchant Matveyev, excellent stables, who equipped them with a ship repair shop. But the estate itself did not lose, apparently the matter did not come through. There was a solid one-story house in the estate. The bricks were made at our own brick factory, as evidenced by the stamps on some bricks. In the post-revolutionary period, the house was a children's colony named after. John Reed, later - the office of a state farm, a subsidiary farm of the Balakovo Machine-Building Plant. In 2004, the building was transferred to the Saratov diocese.
