The two-story Nizhne-Nikolskaya church was built in 1743-1748 on the donations of merchant Fedor Shchedrin. The upper church was consecrated in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, below the chapels - in the name of the Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God and in the name of the holy martyr Mercury.
