Church of St. Georgiya Pobedonostsa

I recommend a church training center for visiting. Located beautiful location from where the city offers a beautiful view especially in the evening. There is a parking lot for many trees nearby. Walking distance to the fortress wall which has historical value. Also within walking distance of the cathedral.

The church was built in the early 18th century by Smolensk archers. In Soviet times, before the war, services were discontinued, the premises were used as a warehouse and an archive room. It was returned to the Smolensk diocese several years ago. It can only be viewed from the outside.
