Holy Trinity Church

Church of the Life-Giving Trinity in Elino. Until 1966, the village of Elino was called the village of Zakharovka and was first mentioned in 1573 as the patrimony of the Theological Monastery. The brick church of the Life-Giving Trinity was built in 1901 on the site of a dilapidated wooden one. In 1939 the church was closed for the purpose of re-equipment into a school. The latter did not happen. The church was dilapidated, the vaults collapsed. It seems to me that they will no longer restore it. But everyone who finds themselves in this area, in the next couple of years, still has the opportunity to admire the painting of the walls, until nature finally washed them away and swallowed the building.
