Tserkov' Petra I Pavla S Buya

Splendid monument of Russian medieval culture and architecture. First church at that place had been mentioned first time in the chronics in 1373. Present church had been built in 1540. Emperor Peter I of All Russia had visited this church several times during the Northern War of 1700-1721, here he read The Apostles and sang from the choirs personally. Admission is free but any donation is welcomed and highly appreciated.

This traditional church looks very beautiful from the park along the Pskova River and from the bridge across it.

The temple of the XIV century rises on a hill above the Pskov River. A very beautiful place.
