Elias Church in the village of Verkholino completely destroyed. Only walls. It is in desolation. Sadly The location for the church was excellent.

During the Great Patriotic War, an aerial bomb exploded near the temple. Cracks went down the walls, but the church continued to function. The bomb funnel was partially bombarded, but the church was not repaired.
