The temple of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara is unique in that it has preserved the old iconostasis, and in that it is one of the few Orthodox churches of the Seto people. The temple to this day is one of the most visited temples in Pechora

Parish Church of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara: The parish of the Varvarinskaya church from the 20s of the 20th century existed as a parish of the Orthodox ethnic group of Estonians - the Setos. For over thirty years, the prior of the Church of the Great Martyr Barbara is Archpriest Evgeny Peleshev, the oldest priest of the Pskov diocese. The church is unique in that it preserves an old iconostasis and is one of the few Orthodox temples of the Setos. Their language is rooted in the Finno-Ugric languages. The richest culture and traditions combine the Estonian way of life and the confession of the Russian Orthodox faith. This is one of the most visited temples in Pechora. Services are conducted in Estonian and Church Slavonic.
