The building of the library is located in a house with a mezzanine built in the early 19th century. This house is a well-known forestry graph Count of Stroganov AE Teploukhov and his family. Therefore, the library also has its own garden, broken by Alexander Efimovich. A very beautiful place. Especially in the spring and summer. There used to be at many times many natural persons. At the entrance to the garden there is a special sign telling about the visit of Saltykov-Shchedrin. In the garden there is a small stage where various celebrations and events are held. Getting into the garden and the library is not at all difficult. It is necessary to climb a little uphill from the main square of Ilinsky, "Piglet". Near the library there is a chapel, and opposite is a beautiful wooden building - the house of the merchant Serebrennikov, where the kindergarten is now located.
