Nurullo Yunusov (09/13/2019)
Along the border of the Perm and Sverdlovsk regions, the Molebny ridge, sacred for the Mansi, stretches for a good two dozen miles, which these aborigines of the Northern Urals called Yalping-Ner (Sacred Mountain). Its northernmost part starts from the swampy sources of Little Toshemka. Low, gently sloping, overgrown with continuous mountain tundra, it is famous for its numerous cliffs of outliers. Often they form whole stone cities that surround the picturesque headwaters of the mountain rivers Vizhay, Maly and Sredny Nyols.

The museum was interesting even before the recent thorough renovation, but now it is a regional museum. The museum has 2 exhibition halls and an unusual domed cinema. The first hall is dedicated to the reserve, its history, people working in it and local Mansi tribes. The second hall is an exposition telling about the flora and fauna of the Vishera reserve. I advise you to visit this museum together with a visit to Vetlan, Polud and the Changed Stone

Because it’s pure and untouched by civilization.
