For every summer the angel of the Lord descends into a font ... There are two venerated holy sources in the parish. The first is located half a kilometer south of the village. This is a source in honor of the Three-Handed icon of the Mother of God. Locals have long called it the “Chapel" in memory of the chapel above the spring, which once existed there, in the dashing years of godlessness it was destroyed. Restored again in 2009. To this source the procession was held annually. According to the certificate of. Nikolai Bystrov, the builder of our church, gathered up to 5,000 people for the holiday. Pilgrims gathered both from the surrounding villages and from far away, even from Ukraine. The slopes of the ravine were littered with people who prayed, bathed in the source of the sick, gathered water. The procession was again committed to the source in 1999. Only seven people took part in it. But from that time on, it is celebrated annually on July 25, and now up to 200 pilgrims gather on this day. Religious procession - repented of the sin of infanticide (abortion) (see photo). At the source, a special penitential prayer is offered to the Most Holy Theotokos (the text is in the section "on the vital"). The second source is located in the fields southeast of Stepanovka a few kilometers from the village of Teplovka. Usually locals call it simply "Holy." On this source were the appearance of St. Seraphim of Sarov. He became especially famous during the years of persecution of faith in the Soviet era, when especially many signs and miracles took place in this holy place. According to local residents, the water line stretched for 5-6 km.
