Today, on this site, on the foundation of the old church, stands the Kizil creativity house. After the fall of the Soviet regime, the church quickly began to be restored - already in the early 1990s. This is the very first restored church in the south of the Chelyabinsk region. They say that the monk of St. Sergius Lavra gave the command to build a church to the then head of the district, Alexander Smirnov. Since the place of the old church was occupied by the House of Creativity, it was decided to build a new church in another place. To do this, choose the western outskirts of the village. Kizil enterprises, MMK and ordinary people donated money for the construction. Already on October 9, 1994, the new church was consecrated by Bishop George. In memory of the destroyed temple, she received the name of the holy righteous Simeon the God-Receiver and the prophetess Anna. And in 1999, a convent was built near the temple. The monastery gradually expanded: in 2001, a 2-year Sunday school opened at the church. Then came the library, the church shop. The church has a rich library: more than one and a half thousand books. Among them there are very rare editions. At the church children and youth theater "Spark". The old church was white-stone, but it was decided to rebuild the new one from red brick. The church was built in the spirit of exemplary projects of the Russian-Byzantine style. The church is rectangular in plan with a single-domed four under the bulbous dome over the central part, with a small refectory and tent bell tower above the entrance. Three-altered temple. Side aisles: Pokrovsky and Ilyinsky. The interior painting of the temple is striking in its beauty. It was performed by an artist from the Bashkir city of Sibay Fedor Ivanov.
