In the center of the ancient city of Valdai, next to the temple of the Holy Trinity, the church of the introduction of the Most Holy Theotokos into the temple is gradually destroyed. The construction dates from the 1670s. Before the revolution, it was a gorgeous temple complex. Now it is a slightly whitewashed ruin with boarded up doors and windows. The last time the building was used as a hospital during the Second World War. Between the temples built a large memorial complex with the Eternal Flame.
