The temple is located in the village of Big Gorodno, Valday district. The stone three-altar church was built next to the wooden St. Nicholas church that had existed since 1716. In 1830, the high altar was consecrated in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, winter left in honor of St. Nicholas, right in honor of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos.
