So, I am writing a detailed review about the rest at the resort of Staraya Russa, having escaped from here on the 9th day out of 10 paid ones. Let's start with the fact that I came from St. Petersburg by car, at the reception at 22.00 there was a huge queue waiting for me and one young man served this queue. Imagine a crowd of people tired from the road who have to wait in line for another hour. I had to pay 100 rubles a day for parking. In the conditions of a pandemic, no one measured our temperature, they did not ask for fluorography. No one walks in masks on the territory. Although on its Instagram, the resort writes about the opposite. I came with a specific request for treatment for the female part. At the reception, the doctor said that I had a contraindication and that the procedures that I was counting on should not be done. Why I came is not clear at all. As a result, I was assigned general procedures that did not affect my problem in any way. Despite the fact that the voucher with treatment here, in comparison with other resorts, is quite expensive. For this price, they offer comfortable accommodation, three meals a day according to the "buffet" system with excellent chefs in the Dostoevsky restaurant. I saw neither one nor the other here. The food is monotonous and not disgustingly tasty. A restaurant is an ordinary dining room, coming from which you smell all the same food. If you eat on the 3rd shift, be prepared for the fact that you will come to the leftovers from the master's table. It is simply impossible to eat in such a place for ten days. Life hack: opposite the entrance there is a Vis-a-vis Hotel, there is more or less decent food. The room is small, but quite comfortable (I lived in the second building). The windows of my room overlooked the street along which local music lovers drove all night. As a bonus to the whole day, there was a stench in the bathroom. They called a plumber, he threw up his hands, and then just poured water into the hole on the floor and thank God everything passed. I went to the pool for the only and last time after seeing algae at the bottom of the pool (when it was last cleaned, God knows) and disgustingly dirty showers. Complete unsanitary conditions. From the pros: tidying up the room every 2 days, change of linen and towels every 4 days. Very pleasant (mostly) staff on the procedures. Very nice area, which is good for walking. Mineral water. Well, ducks, of course) So much for your imperial vacation. The price-quality ratio, alas, is completely absent here. I don't think I will come here again.

The place itself is lovely, calm, green and wholesome! On weekends, the entrance to the resort is paid, on weekdays - free entrance, you can take mineral water, take a walk, sunbathe at the fountain, the air is healing. As for the resort itself, for such prices for accommodation, I fly twice with my family to Greece, and together with the flight and "all inclusive"! I, of course, understand everything, but judging by the prices on the resort's website, this is something ... I will live on the Russian Black Sea coast for a month with meals for the amount that I will give in 10 days at the resort "Staraya Russa" It's easier to rent a whole house for 30,000 in the city itself and go to drink mineral water and breathe healthy air for free, than to give 5000-6000 per day, in my opinion)

A wonderful place with 200 years of history. Silence, smells of autumn grasses and fallen leaves. The absence of crowds of people and the presence of swans, ducks and other birds pleasing to the eye or hearing. A relict park with preserved natural vegetation, and not not well-groomed as some think)))). Lawns and flower beds, etc., for lovers of "combed" is also there.
