Very atmospheric place. The architects who conceived this memorial, managed to convey the right mood. Refusing there, you realize the degree of tragedy fallen on Russ. I did not see this in the Novgorod Kremlin or even in the Alexander Garden in Moscow. Here you feel trapped in a concrete bag and soldiers and partisans on three triangular boulders look down at you with hopelessness from top to bottom.

Memory ... Alley of heroes of the Great Patriotic War with busts, actually a monument and an eternal flame. Everything is in a park in the city center. Triumphantly worthy. The dates of birth of the heroes, unfortunately, are not fully indicated, there is not enough information. The paths in the park are asphalted, there is a small playground. Lots of trees, late spring and summer, probably very good. In early spring and autumn, everything except the paths is flooded.

From elementary school I visit the park. He was always good, and now especially. Very patriotic place. I am proud that the Rushanians remember and honor the dead.

This is a unique place in Staraya Russa. It is a memory of the Great Patriotic War that went on from 1941 to 1945, the USSR fought so that Germany would not conquer the lands of the USSR.
