The Church of the Resurrection of Christ is located on the territory of the village of Golubkovo, Luga District of the Leningrad Region. It is a cemetery church and is located on the Petrovsky churchyard, which has existed since the times of Tsar John the Terrible. Has one eponymous throne. The everyday names of the church are: Resurrection, Petrovskaya Gorka. Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Golubkovo erected on the site of the old wooden, burned down in 1894. It was built according to the project of architect M. A. Shurupov, with funds donated by parishioners in the city of St. Petersburg, on the initiative and assistance of the righteous father of John of Kronstadt. The temple was built from 1895 for five years until 1900. The consecration took place in September 1900. As a result of persecution in 1938, the building was taken away from the church and given to the local authorities, but at the beginning of the war the church began to conduct services. The building of the church remained with the Orthodox believers, and during World War II it served the locals as a refuge. The temple was re-consecrated in 1943. Last time it was repaired in 2005. The Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Golubkovo currently stands in a very picturesque place on the shore of Lake Cheremenetsky among residential buildings and new buildings that block it, but the blue dome and green bell tower tent are visible from afar.
