Those who have never come across such museums, and who also want to know the history of radio, this museum is a must!) My husband and I visited this museum on 10/19/2020. The guide gave us a tour almost in VIP format. For us, about two hours were allocated, during which we received almost comprehensive information about the history and evolution of Russian radio engineering (from the first radio to the modern smartphone). During the excursion, we were shown subject video materials, and little-known biographical facts from the life of physicists and electrical engineers of the USSR were also announced. The museum has a sufficient number of thematic exhibits of various years, starting from the end of the 19th century. To be honest, this was our second museum dedicated to the topic of radio (we visited the first in Pereslavl-Zalessky in 2018) and it made a tremendous impression, primarily thanks to the guide. It is evident that the employees love and are proud of their country, and in particular its great past! I express my deep gratitude to the founders of this museum and the keeper of our history in the person of the guide (I apologize, I did not remember the full name)! P. S. The monument to M.A.Bonch-Bruevich located at Nizhny Novgorod, Minin street (almost two houses from the museum itself), it would be logical to rearrange closer to the museum building). But this is more a question for the city administration.

I liked the hall where practical classes for those interested in physics are held. Very interesting. In the other two rooms I don’t advise you to go without a live guide, even with an audio guide, a terribly boring announcer. But the woman-guide well done! So interestingly, with jokes-jokes, he says that you are not only filming a story, but also doing a good mood! So it’s better to sign up for it!

An excellent museum, the guide, Sergey told a lot of interesting things, plunged into the era) You can closely look at the radio devices that started the radio, find out how it happened.
