Tserkov' Fedora Stratilata

A classic cross-domed church, typical of the 14th century Novgorod architecture. Built in 1360-1361, the architectural decoration is very similar to the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord on Ilyin Street. Later, the Church of Blasius was built in the same style. It was located on the bank of a stream, which was filled up in the second half of the 20th century during the construction of the road. A bell tower was added in the 17th century. Inside, there are 14th century frescoes in the Byzantine style and ancient graffiti. Museum site, access is open only in dry weather.
