This incredible museum of archeology is just off to the side of the Kremlin. It has amazing interactive activities for children to see how the world was created and what goes on in it that we don't typically get to experience first-hand (earthquakes, disasters, satellites, etc.). I really recommend going here!

Old'n'cozy The Moscow University Geological museum in 3 minutes walking distance from Red Square and Okhotny Ryad. 2 floors. Cafe. Shopping (minerals, etc). Kids groups, workshops, quests, etc.
