Whenever I visit the city of Luban in the Leningrad Region, I ask my husband to go up to the church of Saints Peter and Paul. Indeed, it is located near the train station and is visible from the train. It is almost on the river bank. And very pllitaema local residents. On holidays there is going to serve a lot of people. And on Thursdays there is a memorial plaque that this temple was built by the magnificent architect Constantine Ton. In St. - Petersburg, he also built the building Nicholas Station, now Moscow.

The church is good, everything is beautifully done, but the road that is near the church leaves much to be desired, there was probably not enough for the church, but sadly :(

Peter and Paul Church in Luban. Architect Ton K. A. Chief builder First Minister of the Russian Railways Pavel Petrovich Melnikov. The temple was devastated in the 30s, destroyed during World War II. I could not believe that he would be restored. So he was defeated and plundered! Restored in 1999. This is the only Russian church of railway workers. There is a Sunday school. On the territory of the monument to the fallen soldiers. Beautiful, bright temple!
