An interesting and rich museum. A large number of exhibits. The halls are located so that you can learn the history of this region from the very beginning to the present day. The museum has been recently renovated, but in some of the halls the ancient ceilings painted at the beginning of the last century were specially left. To the question "what was earlier in this building?" One of the caretakers replied dryly that they were forbidden by the scientific department to answer such questions. I had to search the Internet ourselves. Part of the museum is located in a former two-story mansion of a large businessman of the early 20th century. Khodyakova. Therefore, perhaps in one of the halls there was a fountain, and the walls were painted with beautiful stories. I recommend everyone to go. You will not regret!

The best museum of Vladikavkaz. Exhibits from antiquity for 3 millennia BC and before the time of the Great Patriotic War. Great modern building

Great modern museum! Interesting exhibits, a well-built route through the halls - from ancient times to the time of the Second World War.

The renovated national museum. There are exhibits from the time of the Scythians and Sarmatians to the rule of the Soviets. It's much more interesting with a guide!
