It is difficult to assess such monuments, especially knowing that it is not unique.

The brothers were called up for war from their native village of Dzuarikau. During the war, funerals came for all seven brothers. Mother could not stand it and died after the 3rd funeral. My father lived until the end of the war, but he also died after the 7th funeral. The poet Rasul Gamzatov wrote a poem on this subject. Subsequently, Jan Frenkel made music and the result was the Cranes song.

The monument depicts the mother of these brothers, Tasso Gazdanov and seven swans. All seven brothers died at different times in the war. A very difficult story.
