Many times I traveled to Kandalaksha. But it turned out for the first time in this cute little museum house. Overall I liked it. The museum has three rooms. In the first two - the main exhibition. The first one contains household items and handicrafts, photographs and posters describing the life of the indigenous people of these townships, and then the coast-dwellers. The second hall is entirely devoted to the second world war. It contains military exhibits and personal items of both the soldiers of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht soldiers. There are attack / defense schemes and a map of major frontiers. The third hall is temporary exhibitions. If you have time, I recommend to visit.
