We rented car from Saint Peterburg and retuned at Moscow. We were in contact With them to clarify that we will get the same type of model upon Collection. And we did. At Saint Peterburg, the staff there were fantastic, patience and helpful. Upon returning Our car at Moscow, we were struck in the Worst traffic jam and we returned the car a bit later than promised. Jan (at the Moscow's Office) was very kind, profession and helpful. He accepted our apology and did not charge us extra. Then he helped us ordering a taxi (some complication there too) and he even told us to Call him if we were lost or had problem locating our destination. Called him 3 weeks later to clarify issue in regard to some fine from the police . Once again, he is patient, helpful and profession. Avis is Lucky to have such employee.

Terrible service. This people just stealing money. OK this is my story with them. I rented car trough Expedia service. I should pick up my car at Domodedovo airport and return it at Sheremetyevo after 2 weeks. When I arrived car was not there! Representative said we have to take taxi and go to central of Moscow to got the car, he offered discount for the rental car about 80$ but taxi cost almost 100$ :) OK we didn't have a choice it was almost 5pm and we needed this car. At the central office it's took about 2!!!! hours to do all paper works. When we got this car it was almost 8:30pm and dark outside. They rented Hyundai Creta with 30000 kilometers on it. Car was clean with some scratches and small dents on the body. AC works fine :) Gas tank was full of gas. Creta was very good for the gas, we did about 800km on one tank. When we paid rental amount they reserved about 200$ from our credit card as security deposit for damages and speeding tickets. They told us money will be refunded back about 2 weeks after end of rent period. If any speeding tickets will arrive after they suppose to send us proof with pictures from speeding cameras. Car was reliable and didn't make any troubles for us, we traveled a lot and it was unlimited kilometers in this rental. We returned this car in time, no any damages and with full tank of gas as agree. We came back to Canada and after about 2 weeks got statement from our bank for additional 38$. They never refund any money from our deposit and wanted some more money, even if it was some speeding tickets they suppose to send us proof which we never got. I agree to pay if it was my faults, but send me the PROOF! So I called to my bank and explained everything and guy from security department was not surprised :) he said it's happened all the time. He canceled this transaction for 38$ but of course I never got my deposit back :). So, the final- the total rental price together with not refunded deposit was too high for this type of car compare to Europe countries. Service not good at all. Car was OK, thank you Creta :) In Russia you don't have many choices where to rent a car, if I need again car in Russia I will probably try to rent it from some different company, but I don't think it's will be big difference until something change in the government.

I rented a car in Velikbrationia at Avis in early July. On the route route there was a toll bridge Merseyflow which I paid immediately. And then the op-av at the end of September, Avis from my card, for no reason at all, writes off 30 pounds. Then I receive a letter from Avis in which they write that 30 pounds have been withdrawn from me for processing a request from the company that sent a penalty for non-payment of the passage for the bridge. And, they say, wait for a fine. I applied to this company (Merseyflow), attached all receipts and documents. They told me that everything is OK, during my lease everything was paid for me, it's some mistake, please contact Avis. I write to Avis (both Russian and British), attaching all the documents and the answer from Merseyflow and all the time some unsubscribe. The essence of which is that 30 pounds will not be returned, you want to appeal - complain (how?), Wait fine, do not know anything, etc. Many times I rented a car from other companies, never anything like that. Never again in Avis!
